Disposable Test Clips - 100 Pack

DTC100 Disposable Test Clips—when paired with the DCB10 Test Clip Base—make edge testing faster, simpler, and more versatile. The clip format provides easier access for handheld blades and odd-shaped tools, and is especially helpful for users who want quick checks or who may have limited dexterity.

Because they use the same media as the TM02 Test Media canisters, the results are highly consistent and repeatable across a wide range of edges. However, unlike the TM02 canisters, Disposable Test Clips are not BESS-certified. This means they’re best used for relative comparisons—tracking sharpness over time or comparing one method against another—rather than for official, cross-user benchmark scores.

Expect test clip results to read about 20% lower than when using the BESS-certified ATF10G Aluminum Test Fixture. In practice, that makes them an excellent option for speed, convenience, and routine testing—while the ATF10G fixture remains the standard for certified accuracy.
