    Replacement V- Block

    Customer service was great and very easy to deal with. My star rating is based on the part itself. It's just a threaded plastic knob that I feel will just strip out again. I'm going to insert a nut into the stripped out one to see if I can improve the design

    I would rate it this because though it is great for bigger knives it is very difficult to sharpen smaller knives without hitting the sharpening stone on the v-clamp.

    understanding tool set-uup

    Loosening the Torx screw from the way I received it - on receiving new, the button was very difficult as in brute strength to push the button in and rotate - I never attempted any adjustments - I just thought what I received was the way the product was supposed to be set-up - I now I have no wandering or looseness that would affect holding the angles correctly - I have the “sweet spot” that holds your angles, yet is now far easier for me to press the button and rotate the V clamp - The tool works so well and from date of purchase that it was important to have a good setup - it is a super, re;liable and precise sharpener - now it is even better. - thanks
