    EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED, BUT WISH THIS PIECE WAS MADE FROM A METAL OR SOME OTHER SUBSTANCE OTHER THAN RUBBER. IT WORE OUT RATHER QUICKLY.

    Not that great. Made out of Cheap Plastic FROM CHINA, wears out too soon, wears out too soon and wears out too soon. IF YOU DON’T CHANGE IT AFTER IT WEARS DOWN IT PUTS S A CURVE IN YOUR BLADE THAT IS HARD TO GET BACK STRAIGHT. “SEE PICTURES” It should receive 0 STARS. $2.52 each, if you buy 4 to get a discount, and 7 Business days to receive new ones in the mail. No faster shipping service offered, “CRAPPY USPS GROUND ADVANTAGE ONLY” what a bunch of junk. Now I will have to buy 4 or 5 more because I do a lot of sharpening.

    Work Sharp could have made this better to last longer, and not have it where it wears down to cause a curve in the sharp side of the blade, see pictures.

    Replacement Edge Guide Mk.2

    Replacement same as come with sharpener. This item needs to be upgraded to a material that does not become degraded the first time you use it. Every stroke as the knife sharpens starts cutting a groove in the guide.
