The grit symmetry, spacing, and backing flexibility are all designed to produce the optimal convex edge with minimal heating or material takeoff.     Replacement Kit for Mk 2

    Just what I needed to continue to use the sharpner. So glad that items are available without having to harder other items that you don't need. Really like that a sharpener like this is available because commercial sharpening is so expensive.
