    Very secure grip

    Definitely holds the blade in place better than the single clamp - especially for larger blades. One comment - because it sticks out further than the original, the range of sharpening angles seems less. To get the angle to 20° I have to set it about 25° on the machine. Which ends a true 25° is about the most you’ll be able to squeeze out of it. Does this mean a modified machine will come out in the future?

    Otherwise very good. I wish the camps had come with the rubber grips to protect the blade like the single clamp does, rather than having to mess with the tape - but that’s not a huge deal - just a bit annoying.

    As another reviewer commented - it still requires some fiddling to get the edge angle the same on both sides of the blade. Set and measure one side, then flip it over, adjust, flip it back over, adjust, repeat until both sides read the same.

    Rock Solid

    The new clamp makes holding the knife rock solid. I wish the clamps could be extended further out for bigger knives. I would also prefer to adjust the clamps hold with my fingers or at least has a small magnet on the clamps hold to hold the Allen wrench needed to tighten.

    Still cannot get same angle on both side of blade.. Any advice gladly accepted.

    I TRULY hoped I would be able to get my angle set on 1st side of blade then rotate v2 clamp and get same reading. BUT IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN This has been same issue, (the only issue) from day one of owner ship on this adjustable professional elite system. I have read the directions, about 10 times, supplied with v2 and watched videos. No help. I put the knife in the clamps, make sure I have both clamps adjusted and tightened accordingly to match flat or angled blade set up., which I attributed to the problem on blade angle on original clamp but not the case. I get a zero start point to zero the angle gauge, (i have 4 different angle indicators they all read within .05 degrees of one another) , I measure the 1st side of blade, (in this case 20 degrease) and rotate clamp, (in this case 19.6 degrease) Overall I will have anywhere from .40 to 1 degree difference between one side to the other. I can see the difference on the blade with the naked eye when I have finished sharpening, one side has a larger sharpened edge than the other. The blade is sharp enough to cut paper effortlessly but will not hold the edge very long. I have attached pictures, the 1st picture has less edge than the 2nd.
