Professional Precision Adjust V-Block Clamp™

This camp depends on a blade making contact with the rear inside of the clamp in a scissors grip with the front of the clamp jaws. It does a good job on knives that have fairly wide blade widths and and mid-range blade thicknesses. If a knife cannot be placed so the spine of the blade is in contact with the rear of the jaws (narrow blade), the clamping is unstable, Even with good blade spine contact, if the blade is thin, it is not clamped firmly. Once a blade is firmly clamped in the jaws, this clamp works very well.

The clamp works well, but I was a little bummed that I had to replace the first one after the plastic tension screw broke.

I love the sharpener, But I use 10 inch chef's knives. The front of the knife dips down. It would be better if the knife would fit further back in the clamp

Great tool!! Easy to use!! My only upgrade would have been to change out the black plastic tightening knob for a knurled aluminum knob. Love EVERYTHING that WorkSharp have done.
