Very easy to use, holds blade firmly in place

I’m so disappointed that the clamp doesn’t work on large knives, maybe thin kitchen knives, but not hunting knives,

The clamp would not fit in the frame. Customer service was outstanding in replacing the device in just a few days.

This camp depends on a blade making contact with the rear inside of the clamp in a scissors grip with the front of the clamp jaws. It does a good job on knives that have fairly wide blade widths and and mid-range blade thicknesses. If a knife cannot be placed so the spine of the blade is in contact with the rear of the jaws (narrow blade), the clamping is unstable, Even with good blade spine contact, if the blade is thin, it is not clamped firmly. Once a blade is firmly clamped in the jaws, this clamp works very well.

The clamp works well, but I was a little bummed that I had to replace the first one after the plastic tension screw broke.
