The DCB10 Test Clip Base is the foundation of Edge On Up’s clip-based testing system.

Built to hold DTC100 Disposable Test Clips securely in place, it makes edge testing faster and more approachable—whether you’re checking a kitchen knife, pocketknife, or uniquely shaped blade.

By stabilizing the clip during each cut, the base helps deliver consistent results across repeated tests. This makes it especially valuable for quick comparisons, routine edge checks, or for users who prefer the convenience of the clip format.

While results from clip testing are highly repeatable, they are not BESS-certified. For standardized, benchmark scores, pair your tester with the ATF10G Aluminum Test Fixture. For everyday checks, the DCB10 Test Clip Base provides the speed and ease that make sharpness testing a natural part of your sharpening process.
