All Work Sharp knives are covered by a lifetime warranty for factory defects. However, due to limited production of Reserve Series knives, an exact replacement may not be available. In those cases, Work Sharp will work to provide a comparable replacement of equivalent value.

The RMX Blackout strips the full-sized RMX down to its most focused form: a blacked-out finish, a CPM 3V Reverse Tanto blade, and the proven RMX platform underneath. The result is a Reserve Series configuration that looks quiet, feels intentional, and puts the attention where it belongs: on the cut.The full-sized magnesium handle gives the Blackout a confident grip and balanced feel, while the Reverse Tanto blade brings piercing strength, slicing control, and a reinforced tip geometry built for daily utility. It is a clean, low-profile take on the RMX, made for people who prefer their gear understated, capable, and ready to work.

  • CPM 3V blade steel: Ultra-thin CPM 3V blade is sharpened to 15° per side and built for slicing, piercing strength, controlled cutting, and everyday utility.
  • Full-size integral magnesium handle: Single-piece magnesium construction provides a steadfast, full-sized grip while keeping the knife ultra-lightweight, finished with corrosive-resistant Cerakote™.
  • Blackout finish: All-black handle, blade, and pivot create a restrained Reserve Series build with a clean, focused look. 
  • Confident grip and control: Deep finger choil with extended jimping on the spine and handle provides grip and indexing for intuitive use.
  • Reversible pocket clip: Designed for secure, deep-pocket carry on either the right or left side, and removable to expose a lanyard hole..
