The Professional Precision Adjust Elite can securely clamp knives up to 1/4" thick and with blades up to 15" long. For longer blades, you can sharpen in sections to ensure the entire edge gets even attention.

Yes, replacement abrasives are available for the included stones. You can also purchase accessories like the upgrade kit with resin-bonded stones, premium leather strop, universal handle, and carry case.

Our sharpeners are intended to be used dry with the exception of the Whetstone. Introducing oil can cause oxidation or rust. Water can as well, if water is introduced please dry as quickly as possible to avoid any damage.

It varies depending on blade size, steel type, condition, and pressure used. In our testing, we see about 75–100 sharpenings per set. The abrasives are removable and replaceable, so your sharpener won’t wear out over time.

An 8" blade sharpens easily, and up to a 10" chef’s knife is possible. However, only about 2½" of the abrasive contacts the blade, so it’s less efficient. For best results, use the up-and-down stroke shown in the manual and sharpen in sections, re-clamping as needed.

It’s designed for both. The standard clamp works great for kitchen knives, while the small knife table is ideal for pocket knives. It can easily hold and sharpen blades up to 8".

The resin-bonded stones are approximately:

• 1200 grit (20–28 µm)
• 2000 grit (14–20 µm)
• 3000 grit (5–10 µm)

Because they’re resin-bonded, they cut more smoothly than electroplated diamond stones of the same grit.

The strops come plain and are not preloaded, allowing you to apply the compound of your choice based on your sharpening preferences.
