This knife is the same great quantity as all previous knives. The knife being naked was its appeal as the keracote wears off the other knife's. I wanted to try one without the keracote.
Yes it is not as attractive as other knives. However, I wanted a working knive. This is a true working knife. It is not fancy, it is not decorated and it is always there for whatever task you ask of it.
Many will not like this knife as when you get it comes barebones and slightly shiney. Then, it transforms into what some would call an ugly knife. So it is not a gentleman's knives.
As it requires a Little more care many will get turned off. Me I love it, this knife is darking and changing to my unique profile. My sweat, my oils, and my adventures are this knives paint.
If you want something personal that no other person will ever have, this is that knife. Mass produced but still yet personal and unique to me.

Like many have said before me, these are absolutely great knives. For the price, you cannot get this quality anywhere else. This raw magnesium is the best yet. Endless possibilities for making it your own.

I have many knives and have never seen a knife like the RMX, but the raw magnesium handle is on another level! A nice patina tells a story of where something has been and done. As soon as I opened it, in my pocket it went to start its own story! The RMX feels sturdy, but amazingly lite weight and a very usable size. After a year or two I think it is going to look great and performs well, time will tell. The Raw joins my Doug knife for steel versatility. I recommend you pick one up and see for yourself!

I was one of the first to order when the drop went live. Im super happy with the build, the movement of the blade, and the feel of the knife. Can't wait to put some time on it and have it grow it's own special patina. The only thing that came to mind if I were to change anything, was that I would've liked it to be a numbered seriea in the initial limited edition drop.
