    It works well.

    I have kept our kitchen knives extremely sharp over the years, and have sharpened my son’s kitchen knives as needed. This works very very (yep, TWO ‘’Verys ‘’) well. WE have not suffered from a dull knife over the years. One Hint:

    Background: For some reason our 10’’ kitchen knife became dull and would not sharpen. After wearing out my arm using repeated passes on the red and then gray belts (I think 225g and 600g), I decided to use the green belt (I think 80g). Two passes on the green belt restored the edge and I was then able to sharpen it in the normal fashion with the red and gray belts.

    I own a cover and sewing shop sharpens my scissors perfect other guys bring in their scurries to sharpen we all think it is great
