    Need a new guide.

    The original guide is worn down so much the sharpener doesn't work properly. Make this part available! I'm so tired of companies that take your money for a product then cut off support.

    40 degree guide

    My sharpen MK1 works fine I just need a new 40 degree guide.

    I really liked this sharpener, but......

    I used my sharpener so often that I wore down the guide, just as another reviewer did. The slot in the guide that you run the blade through has become so deep that I can no longer get a proper angle on my kitchen knives. If I could purchase a replacement guide, all would be well; however, I find you no longer supply guides for the older units. The new MK 2 looks like it has a much better guide, but as far as I know, I can't use this guide. Perhaps I will get over my disappointment, but as of right now, I am inclined to never buy another sharpener from Work Sharp.
