Our belts are NOT just sandpaper!

Abrasive belts are formulated, designed, and made for precision sharpening of high-strength steels. The grit symmetry, spacing, and backing flexibility are all designed to produce the optimal convex edge with minimal heating or material takeoff. If you’ve ever used a belt sander to sharpen, you know hot quickly the steel heats and how much excess material can be removed if you aren’t careful. Our abrasives are a key component of our success in the sharpening world.

    Workhorse Belt

This belt will do the blade-shaping job quite well. For a blade that I've never seen or when I choose to apply a new grind angle, I use the 80 Grit belt for a simply faster job. I see a burr far more quickly with the 80 Grit than the P120, but then I follow with the P120 Grit to further augment the edge created. This belt wears well, and unless you're using this for heavier daily use, you're going to have it for awhile. Regular User/Belt purchaser.

    Good, but don't last long.

I like these belts, I just think that their lifespan is very short compared to a trizact belt. I do a lot of sharpening and need belts that last longer. I would also like to see a 600 grit.

Remove material quickly and effectively. Belts wear out before they come apart unlike some other belts.
