Leather Strop and Diamond Emulsion Kit

My grandpa’s leather strip finally bit the dust after 100 years of putting a keen edge on hundreds of my family’s knives (and a painful hurt on a couple generations of backsides). This strip is doing a fantastic job on our knives but backsides have been spared its sting. The emulsions put an ultra-sharp edge that exceeds that of grandpa’s worn out antique. You don’t need too much to achieve a perfect result.

The strop is well constructed and handy. The pump spray bottles that the diamond emulsions are packed in leak and the pump gums up and ceases to funtion after a few sprays. The spray pattern is not wide enough. I wound up unscrewing the pumps and just poured the compounds onto the strop.

I love it. The emulsion doesnt seem to last very long but I have other polishing compounds from worksharp. Im constantly stroping it seems. If I was to change one thing, there would be a rough side and a smooth side. So onr side would be just as it is and the other side would be rough leather. Otherwise im very happy with it.

This is a very nice kit, my first time using Emulsions and they are great! I’ve used diamond compound for stroping and the 2 Emulsions in this kit have given some amazing results. Pair it with a professional Precision Adjust and your knives will be sharper than ever!
