    FOLDING FIELD SHARPENER

    This thing is great..compact...light...but offers a big package in small platform! Works great for bringing back your edge after hard use in the field or just to hone up your edge on every day uses..recommend highly!!

    Great addition

    Great addition to keep in your kit. Compact and easy to use. Works great if you just need to do a touch up.

    Just like all work sharp products it’s built with quality and easy of use in mind. Even my young boys are able to use this with no issues.

    Perfect size and overall good sharpener!

    I would prefer a ceramic on the one side and a leather strap on the other. (Like the Benchmade version that you can't seem to get anymore.)

    Love this handy little sharpening device.

    PROs: Slips into my pocket or my pack. It’s so small and light, perfect for EDC. Sharpened my small Swiss Army knife from dull to shaving sharp in under 2 minutes. Ideal for small blades and (while, in my hands, good, but not perfect for medium sized plain edged blades), it is a handy sharpener to have with you on a daily basis for small and medium sized blades, as well as for “touch-ups” on scissors.

    CONs: Not ideal for serrated blades or larger plain-edged blades, but that is why I own a Work Sharp Rolling Sharpener, a Professional Precision Adjust Sharpener, and my own tapered diamond and ceramic rods.

    Suggestion: it would be helpful if, in the future, Work Sharp could incorporate tapered diamond and/or ceramic rods (like in the Angle Set Sharpener) for use on blades with serrations, with the Folding Field Sharpeners while “on the go.”😀

    This is my first Work Sharp product. But it wont be my last. I’ve been using this to keep my Morakniv Pro Chisel sharp at work, and it’s been doing a great job. I tend to be wary of Diamond stones, because they tend to be much more coarse than their listed grit implies. Not so with this one. The Diamond grit is a consistent medium grit. The ceramic side is very smooth, for fine honing.
