Compact body. Full-sized bite.

You asked for it, we built it. The RMX Caiman brings the piercing strength, reinforced tip geometry, and everyday utility of a reverse tanto blade to the smaller, pocket-friendly RMX frame.

The compact platform keeps the knife light, easy to carry, and quick to access, while the CPM 3V reverse tanto blade adds a more assertive cutting profile for daily work. Finished with a Crocodile Green Cerakote handle, the Caiman brings a distinct Reserve Series look to a knife that lurks low in the pocket but works hard in the hand.

  • Manual or Auto Deployment: Includes all components and tools to swap between manual and automatic deployment anytime.
  • CPM 3V Reverse Tanto Blade: Ultra-thin CPM 3V blade is sharpened to 15° per side and built for slicing, control, and everyday utility.
  • Integral Magnesium Handle: Single-piece magnesium construction keeps the knife ultra-lightweight, exceptionally strong, low maintenance, and finished with durable Crocodile Green Cerakote™.
  • Confident Grip and Control: Deep finger choil with extended jimping on the spine and handle provides grip and indexing for intuitive use.
  • Reversible Pocket Clip: Designed for secure, deep-pocket carry on either the right or left side, and removable to expose a lanyard hole.

Amazing like the rest of the family!

I own several WorkSharp blades now including their first collab with Benchmade and I must say they’ve truly come a long way in a very short amount of time. While I personally do not like smaller knives as I have large hands and they’re just too finicky to handle, this little guy doesn’t give me that problem. Allowing at least a 3 finger grip, all my knives I don’t just look at as “tools” or “works of art” I’m somewhere in between where I can appreciate the craftsmanship, but I always ALWAYS buy a knife I’m going to actually use and run on a daily basis. No safe queens here, edc kings only. That said, I find myself relegating this little guy to “in house carry” which I actually like. Because there is no lanyard hole (which yes anyone who truly edcs knows, a knife with a lanyard is infinitely easier to draw when you lose all dexterity in your fingers because of fight or flight), I don’t have to worry about trying to draw this little guy fast, and instead can easily walk about the house knowing I’ve still got a little something something, albeit miniature sized. For everyday tasks the blade shape is phenomenal and I’d take a reverse tanto any day over spear point drop point or even Americanized tanto because it’s just more versatile and is the closest you’ll get to a hawkbill without having the insane recurve. Hawkbills tend to do the most damage, so having an everyday cutter with the ability to also be similar to a hawkbill in that the force applied is the same all the way to…

    RMX Caiman Compact Reverse Tanto

This is my 3rd Worksharp RMX, I like them a little, and I absolutely love this little knife! I’m afraid my other 2 Worksharp knives will be taking a back seat to the Caiman. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because of the shape the blade came from the factory. It was by far the most dull blade I’ve received from Worksharp so far. Very rough edges and honestly not that sharp. Which I quickly remedied with one of my Worksharp sharpeners haha but other than that, it’s an awesome knife!

    Nice!

Its a great size for lightweight pants or shorts you don't even notice it at all. Small compact and doesn't weigh you down. Overall it is an excellent knife I recommend it.

    Gorgeous color. Top quality.

Love this little thing especially with the spring on the "strong" setting! The green is a treat to look at and the build quality is amazing for the price.
