With an ultralight magnesium handle and auto-to-manual pivot swap, this Reserve Series EDC carries small, works hard, and keeps serious cutting power just below the surface.

All Work Sharp knives are covered by a lifetime warranty for factory defects. However, due to limited production of Reserve Series knives, an exact replacement may not be available. In those cases, Work Sharp will work to provide a comparable replacement of equivalent value.

You asked for it, we built it. The RMX Caiman brings the piercing strength, reinforced tip geometry, and everyday utility of a reverse tanto blade to the smaller, pocket-friendly RMX frame.

The compact platform keeps the knife light, easy to carry, and quick to access, while the CPM 3V reverse tanto blade adds a more assertive cutting profile for daily work. Finished with a Crocodile Green Cerakote handle, the Caiman brings a distinct Reserve Series look to a knife that lurks low in the pocket but works hard in the hand.

  • Confident Grip and Control: Deep finger choil with extended jimping on the spine and handle provides grip and indexing for intuitive use.
  • Reversible Pocket Clip: Designed for secure, deep-pocket carry on either the right or left side, and removable to expose a lanyard hole.

    Perfect blade shape and size

    For a knife this small it hits waaay above its weight class. Good ergonomics and even better blade geometry. Gym shorts approved. Extremely snappy at the second spring setting.

    Rmx caiman compact

    Love the knife. Love the smaller size and super lightweight for a edc option. Love the reverse tanto style blades. Has a fast smooth action in auto mode at the fastest setting. Build quality seems to be very good like all of their knives.

    Not for everybody..

    If tough as nails blade steel, razor sharp outta the box, snappy automatic action, crazy ultralight and just feels good in the hand is not something that appeals to your taste in knives then this is not the blade for you but if you’re ready to rethink what’s in your pocket currently no matter how attached you think you are to it then buy this green monster cuz it’s a game changer in the edc realm…I’m going for another one , not a gift to my hero or one for my girlfriend or to pass down like some old timer tool box blade nah it’s for my other pocket! Can recommend High!

    Compact Excellence

    Great, light-weight, and a workhorse of a knife. Converted it to auto on day one and have been loving it ever since. The 3V is well heat treated and arrived super sharp. Hasn't even needed a touch up after a few weeks of daily use. Looking forward to even more pocket time with the Caiman!
