KPL Dry Film™

SKU: KPL-0004

KPL Dry Film is a fluorinated dry lubricant for knife pivots and moving parts, built for those who prefer a clean, oil-free setup. It goes on as a liquid, then quickly flashes off to leave a sub-micron dry film that repels dust, lint, and debris instead of holding it.

Non-toxic, food safe, and made in the USA, it keeps action slick while staying dry to the touch.

Dry by Design. Smooth in Motion.

KPL Dry Film is a fluorinated dry lubricant engineered for knife pivots, detents, bearings, and other moving parts where a clean, oil-free setup is preferred. Designed as a dry film knife lubricant, it supports smooth, consistent action without the residue associated with traditional wet oils.

Applied as a liquid, KPL Dry Film uses a fast-evaporating, food-safe solvent to flow into tight tolerances and flush away fine contaminants. As the carrier flashes off, it leaves behind a sub micron dry boundary layer that bonds to metal surfaces. This dry film presents extremely low surface energy, which helps repel dust, lint, and pocket debris instead of trapping it. The result is a dry pivot lubricant that stays slick in motion while remaining dry to the touch.

KPL Dry Film is non toxic, food safe, and made in the USA. It functions as a standalone dry lubricant or as a pretreatment under KPL Original, Light, or Heavy oils, creating a cleaner system for folding knives, automatic mechanisms, and gear that sees heavy use in dusty or pocket carry environments
