    A dull knife can get ya killed!!!

    As an alaskan crab fisherman in the 80 i know a dull knife can kill you ive seen it happen… thats why anytime i break out my pocket knife i can always use it to shave with!!! My field sharpener is in my go-bag and thats always with me and ive worn out a few but i keep on getting more because they are that good!!!

    Used the field sharpener so much...

    ....I had to replace a diamond plate on it. I have several of the field sharpeners scattered across my garage, home, different packs, etc. I keep one in my day/commute pack as well. I keep the edge touched up a lot on my knives, wearing out the plate. Such an easy replacement to make!

    AS ALWAYS GREAT QUALITY MERCHANDISE

    I always keep spare sharpening plates in my field sharpening . That is what this was for. Always great products. I have 6 of their sharpening kits, they all work great. I have 2 that are Precision kits and they will allow you to match the angle on your blade exactly because they come with a digital angle indicator. Just color the very edge of the blade with a black marker. Swipe the blade, gently, with the fine diamond plate till you remove the whole black marker and it will be very close to your angle already on your blade, if not exact.

    My Favorite

    I have two of the Guided Field Sharpeners and finally wore out the Fine diamond plates. I process a lot of game, veggies and turn hogs into sausage. An extremely sharp knife is a pleasure to use and I find these sharpeners the easiest for me to keep the perfect edge. From Shun kitchen knives to Knives of Alaska hunting knives - my favorite sharpening tool.

    Field Sharpener

    My Field Sharpener less than one year old needed a new fine plate. I've installed it and it works great. I love this sharpener. It's my favorite. I have several bench stone and a guided sharpener. I use this one to keep my edges very sharp.

    I wish Worksharp would grant me my first time buyer 10% discount on my knife purchase last week. I tried to use it but I knew they would sell out quick. I didn't have time to try to correct the problems I was experiencing. I am retired living off SS. Every dollar is very important to me.
