    I bought this a couple of weeks ago, tried it first on the kitchen knives, it did a great job just using two belts to take all the nicks out and made them very sharp. tried it on my pocket knives but took it down to 5 belts and they are razor sharp and edge is polished and it only took a couple minutes per knife, highly recommend it

    Great tool. If you have trouble with the little bar in the front for the tips of your knife. Try it from the back side of it. It seems more stable

    Heard about this sharpener for years and thought it was a bit of hype...and kind of pricey for what it is. But after a few years using a Lansky kit before moving to a manual sharpener rod kit with interchangeable whetstones...I finally decided to get the Ken Onion Work Sharp. The rod kit was able to get a nice sharp edge, but took about 10 minutes per knife. This belt sharpener is amazing, you can go from coarse/med/fine/buff belts and complete a knife in about 2 minutes. Sharpest knives I've ever had with this sharpener. Completely worth the money.
