Principal engineer Dan Dovel spent three years designing the RMX. An integral magnesium handle, lighter than plastic and stiffer than steel. A swappable pivot cartridge that flips from manual to auto with one screw and the wrench in the box.
Every RMX is bench-built and inspected by hand in Ashland, Oregon. Carry it. Clean it. Sharpen it. Swap the action to match the day.

Madrone™ is the first knife built in our new White City, Oregon, knife facility, just up the road from Work Sharp HQ.
Each integral aluminum handle is machined here from a single piece of USA billet, then built into a finished knife by our team using premium components sourced from trusted suppliers around the world. We built this facility to bring more of the knife building process under one roof, from machining and assembly to finishing and final quality checks.
